19 December on St. Nicholas Day the Charitable Foundation “Aid Center” attended Potiyivska boarding school for children with cerebral palsy and polio consequences to welcome students with holiday.

Overall the campaign involved more than 40 people and several charitable partner organizations. Unfortunately not every benefactor managed to congratulate children with the holiday in person, but all 110 school students felt the magic of Christmas, received an individual package and a sweet surprise.

“Mondelis Ukraine“, formerly known as “Kraft Foods Ukraine“, one of the largest manufacturers of chocolate products, biscuits and chocolates, made a huge surpise for children providing them nice gift packs (clocks, cups, cosmetics, plates, hats, scarves, and candies).

Charity Foundation of Darina Zholdak helped with household goods, organizing the delivery of much-needed paper towels.

Our initiative was supported by national showbiz stars. The festive atmosphere at the festival created a showman and presenter Andrey Dzhedzhula and his irrepressible team, performers  ROSAVA and Nikita Lomakin. Children and adults were thrilled!

In addition to gifts during charity event  almost 19 000 UAH was collected. Some money were spent on fruits and sweets. The remaining funds also had designated purpose and were spent on equipment for upgrading computer class.

We are planning a complete upgrade of computer class in the near future. Children with impaired musculoskeletal system like no one deserve a decent education. And the Computer Play therapy is an integral part of their social adaptation and rehabilitation.

So,  thank you for your concern and willingness to do miracles and sincerely share them with children. We have a lot of good things to do ahead!
